SKELLY

SKELLY

Skelly follows the off-kilter exploits of a 30-something woman who has a literal skeleton in her closet; thing is, no one believes her, and she starts to wonder if she believes herself. Skelly, the skeleton owns a bar he runs out of her closet.
The bar is visited by people who passed or have passed. Skelly usually tries to rope Sarah into being a bar waitress during his many parties that keep her awake at night; she is constantly tired.
Sarah still lives at home with her grandma, whom everyone calls, Nana. Sarah is constantly tired and doesn’t have much of social life. Work. therapy visit. home. She is the amalgamation of monotony.

The world of Skelly is sardonic and intense. Death itself is commonplace.
Each episode is presented as a therapist visit and it plays out as Sarah describing her day. As the show progresses, a mystery presents itself, as Sarah is hell-bent on learning who Skelly is and how he died; but in turn, she finds out more about herself than she ever wanted to know or accept. Viewers will want to solve the mystery themselves and be taken on a Beetlejuice-ish journey of craziness.

Skelly is an adult animation that focuses on things not normally talked about, mental health, familial trauma, religion and relationships. The story is led by a young Black/Jewish woman: something that unfortunately still isn’t all that commonly explored in television animation.

PIZZAMAN

Rebranding “Pizzaman”: A Superhero for Pizza Delivery

We were recently approached by “Pizzaman” – a popular pizzeria franchise in Ernakulam – to rebrand their franchise for their new shop. The task at hand was to design a new superhero character, create two comic strips for their walls, and a huge cutout in front of their shop. Our job was to give them a new identity, while maintaining their innovative concept of using superheroes to deliver pizzas.

The Original Superhero Design

“Pizzaman” had a unique concept of using a superhero to deliver pizzas. They already had a superhero design, which their delivery boys used to wear when out for delivery. It was an amazing and innovative concept that we had to build upon. Their original design was a little more realistic. We went the other way and created a more stylized character.

Creating a Stylized Character

Our design team went to work on creating a new superhero character. We wanted a design that was simple, but unique. We came up with a character that was both visually appealing and instantly recognizable. We gave the character a bold and playful personality that matched the brand’s image.

Comic Strip Concept: Saving the World with Pizza

We knew we had to create comic strips that were as fun and exciting as the idea of a superhero delivering pizza. So, we came up with two hilarious concepts that perfectly capture the brand’s quirky personality.

The first comic strip sees our hero facing off against a kaiju or monster that’s rampaging through the city. But instead of relying on brute force, Pizzaman saves the day by throwing a pizza straight into the monster’s mouth! As it chomps down on the cheesy goodness, the kaiju is pacified and Pizzaman emerges victorious.

In the second concept, we take things intergalactic. Aliens are attacking the countryside and beaming up all the food they can get their hands on! But Pizzaman isn’t going to let them get away with it. He rushes to the scene, wielding a delicious pizza as his weapon of choice. He quickly discovers that the aliens are beaming up food because they’re on the hunt for the tastiest treats in the galaxy. And, of course, Pizzaman’s pizza is just that! The aliens are so impressed that they decide to take Pizzaman’s pizzas back to their planet for a feast.

These comic strips were a blast to create and we’re sure they’ll put a smile on the faces of everyone who sees them. With Pizzaman, there’s no challenge that can’t be overcome with a little bit of pizza magic!

The Final Product

With only two walls for the comics, we had to carefully calculate which panels would make it to the final comic. The result was two stunning comic strips that captured the essence of “Pizzaman” and their superhero. The comic strips perfectly highlighted the brand’s message of delivering pizza to all corners of the city, even the countryside.

Conclusion

Our work with “Pizzaman” was a great success. We created a new superhero character and two comic strips that were both fun and playful. The new design and comic strips perfectly captured the essence of “Pizzaman” and their innovative concept of using superheroes to deliver pizza. The franchise now has a new identity that represents their brand and their vision.

Overall, the game is a fast-paced and exciting experience that is sure to appeal to fans of the film and endless runner games. It is available on mobile devices and can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.

CHARACTERS

Our team designed the characters in vector style to ensure that the resolution would not impact gameplay. This allowed us to create a stylized world for the game. We provided three designs for the main character, with two being unlockable within the game.

CONCEPT ART

Our concept art team put a lot of effort in creating a visually stunning world for the game. The sketches and illustrations they created helped to establish the overall look and feel of the game. They explored different artistic styles and techniques to come up with unique and engaging designs for the characters, backgrounds, and environments in the game. The concept art was essential in bringing the game’s world to life and making sure that it was visually appealing to the audience.

LEADERBOARDS AND PRIZES

Our team went the extra mile to make the game even more exciting for our players by collaborating with some big brands. We partnered with them to offer exclusive gifts and prizes for the first 30 days of the game’s release. These prizes were given to the players who were able to secure a spot on the leaderboard, adding an extra layer of competition and motivation for our players to perform their best. This collaboration allowed us to not only make the game more engaging but also provide value to our players and create a win-win situation. It was a great way to build a sense of community and get players to connect with one another as they compete to claim the top spot on the leaderboard

JUNGLE MARATHON

JUNGLE MARATHON

In a world where social media and technology are constantly vying for our attention, a modern retelling of the classic tortoise and rabbit story highlights the dangers of distraction. In the heart of the jungle, a marathon race was underway, pitting a rabbit and a tortoise against each other in a test of speed and endurance. This modern retelling of the tortoise and rabbit story serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of letting technology and social media consume our attention and distract us from our goals.

Rabbit TA

The rabbit is typically portrayed as a boastful and confident character who is known for his speed and agility. He is quick-thinking and adaptable, and often relies on his natural talents to achieve his goals. However, the rabbit is also prone to distraction and can sometimes become too focused on his own abilities, leading him to underestimate his opponents and make mistakes.

Tortoise TA

The tortoise is typically portrayed as a slow and steady character who is known for his determination and perseverance. He is patient and focused, and he does not let distractions or setbacks deter him from his goals. Despite his slow pace, the tortoise is a formidable opponent and is often able to outmaneuver the rabbit thanks to his steady focus and determination. He is not prone to boasting or overconfidence, and he is content to let his actions speak for themselves. Overall, the tortoise is a reliable and hardworking character who represents the value of patience and determination in achieving one’s goals.

Background Design

Set against a stunning midday sky with bright blue hues and fluffy white clouds, our story takes place in a lush green meadow with rustic brown sand.

Music And SFX

For this project, we enlisted the help of Daniel Victor to create the music and sound effects. Our goal was to appeal to younger audiences, so we initially considered using an orchestral style of music. However, after considering the preferences of our target audience, we decided to switch to electronic music in order to better engage them. Our primary concern was ensuring that the music would be both appealing and relevant to our intended audience.
